Clare & Mark run a highly successful commodities & logistics company that transports grains for breweries, base dairy products plus feed stock for animals. Their client base is both extremely diversified and also highly specialised.
Although they are small company, they work with large ASX listed multinational companies that are household names and the business mark & Clare run punches well above its weight. They offer a flexibility, professionalism and an on standby customised logistics service that larger companies are simply too cumbersome to offer.
In late November 2022, Clare approached “The Finance Depot”, on a firm recommendation from another Finance Depot client.
The essence of the brief from Mark & Clare, was that they needed around $850k in capital assets, namely highly customised trucks & trailers for commodities distribution – and they needed the assets yesterday.
Their two largest clients were expanding in a big way and they wanted to be part of their journey, not to mention they stood to gain an additional fixed income of over $1.2m per annum. It was imperative to make this work.
It was literally make or break for Mark & Clare, and their own expansion contained numerous challenges. The Finance Depot only had until mid-Jan 2023 to secure the finance they needed and Christmas was fast approaching, followed by the January holidays. It was a huge call to execute the brief, let alone meet their expectations.
However, The Finance Depot Pty Ltd, is always up for a challenge and with daily financial brainstorming sessions, endless days on the phone with Fraser the accountant, we managed to through complex cash-flow forecasts, secure agreements and secure the funding required.

She was directly responsible for the overall structuring of the transaction. Thais delivered a solution that worked for both the lenders, & our client.

Basically, our biggest clients were offering us long Term lucrative contracts & we had worked too hard to not partake in this opportunity.
The Finance depot were just absolutely unbelievable from Day Dot, and they were like finance tigers and didn’t stop until I had 4 approvals in my hand. They worked tirelessly with my accountants, and showed a capacity for persistence to obtain the finance approvals that I have rarely seen in my 30 years in business. They just didn’t give up and navigated through consistent requests from lenders and without them I don’t believe we would have been able to obtain the equipment we needed to move our business to the next level.
As a result our income has now increased by over $100k per month, and that’s with locked in contracts with our clients which they also spearheaded

The guys at The Finance Depot are such legends, & this is my 2nd truck with them. I wasn’t sure if I was going to get approved, but they had me approved within 48 hours. I couldn’t believe it.

Mario, a 4WD enthusiast is thrilled with his MY12 4×4 customised Jeep Wrangler and when we checked in with him recently after acquiring the vehicle he gave us the rundown. “I’ve been hitting the sand dunes, smashing it up off road on the 4WD trial tracks and also getting away on quiet camping trips with the wife”.

The guys at The Finance Depot really know finance, I found the car on a Tuesday evening on the way back from a terrible day on the road.
