The Finance Depot Pty Ltd was set up by the well-known economist Thais Silva in 2019 with the objective of supplying Australian small businesses with access to capital at fair & equitable rates & terms.

After many years within the financial sector, I realized that within the Australian market, very little competition exists, especially so for small businesses who simply were not seeing the expansive product range nor the flexibility of alternative policy options that are so vital to the lifeblood of small business.

Although there are alternate financial solutions out there for small businesses they are few and far between and simply don’t take into account the individual needs of the business nor the requirement to fit their capital asset purchase around the lender policy requirements.

This just leads to business owners borrowing more than they really want to and in fact, they often have to purchase new assets over ‘’good quality used assets’’, due to lender policy and therefore accruing a debt far greater than they wish.

The concept of paying high rates because you are a younger business, or are not a financially established entity doesn’t mean that one must accept bad rates & bad terms and this is the market I fight for, the small business that needs a leg up. There are actually numerous fair & equitable options out there, and this is where I come into play.
